The ERS complete fuel management

ERS' standard for fuel management is simple: we are responsible for your equipment having the right quality of fuel, when it needs it, and where it needs it.

As a result of this approach, ERS has combined the individual responsibilities in the refuelling process into a single service. ERS is responsible for each critical step in the refuelling process from procurement, transportation, onsite storage, refueling and lubricating equipment, to a remote cardlock billing system and safety training. This provides complete continuity in quality standards, work ethic, and logistics management in the hand-off between each of the critical steps in the refuelling process.

 

ERS' integrated fuel service was designed around a simple principle: the unexpected always happens.

Fuel Purchase and Supply
  • We manage fuel quality and transportation cost by purchasing fuel from multiple refinery locations.
  • We monitor the quality of the fuel available from multiple refinery racks daily and only purchase fuel that meets our quality standards.

Transportation

  • Provincial and federal carriers.
  • We built our fuel transportation fleet so that we can deliver fuel to the remote places our customers need. This is supported by a fleet maintenance program with scheduled down time for service and repairs.
  • Our standard for fuel handling is to maintain zero spillage.

Remote Fuel Storage Tanks
  • We place our custom designed tanks and our people on your site. Their focused responsibility is to monitor your main equipment and support equipment for fuel usage.
  • We work by two quality standards: zero fuel spillage at any time during fuel handling and zero down time due to a lack of fuel.

Delivering Fuel Onsite
  • Provincial and federal carriers.

  • Our fuel handling standard is to maintain zero spillage.

Onsite Lubricant Service
  • An Indy pit stop type of service.
  • We can work with your people to agree to the lubricant service requirements of your equipment so that the refuelling process includes an equipment lubricant service as well.
  • Our satellite fuel tracking system makes it easy for us to look after this responsibility for you.

Remote Cardlock Billing
  • Our remote communication and billing system was designed to provide us with 100 percent accurate tracking on how much fuel you currently have, the fuel we need to deliver today, and the fuel you will need to purchase in the near future.
  • We also analyze the usage information so that we can better manage expected fuel usage for all of the small pieces of equipment that support a projects major pieces of equipment. If it uses fuel, it will need fuel.

Safety and the Environment
  • Our attitude is that safety is an investment in people, equipment, relationships, and the environment.
  • ERS' senior management designed its process, and selected its people and equipment to consistently achieve our standard of zero tolerance for spills.
